He was a true New Yorker.
He was a soldier in WWII. He was a pharmacist.
He loved to garden. He grew the best tomatoes in all of New York.
He was interested in politics, literature, swimming and golf.
He was very, very stubborn.
He was my mother's father, and he died today at age 92.
