The free face painting booth was the first stop. Butterfly for Josie, dog for Rambler. Alex had his entire face painted as a truck and Simon was a little lion. We went back later and Josie got a tiger and Rambler got a bug. I've looked at the pictures of Madi and Jese and I just couldn't tell you what they were painted up as, but it was cute. The kids all got balloons there too -- with a cross.
The next day, Kira got to help me out by taking the kids to the tie-dye booth. They had a great time and listened to instructions. There was some impatience on Josie's part and some excessive use of green on Rambler's part, but they really enjoyed getting messy.
And they were very proud of the shirts they made (despite R looking so very grumpy in this picture). The fair was great this year. Addy was a good sport. Happy to ride in the stroller for one trip and hang out in the backpack for another. She was too young to enjoy the face painting or the tie-dyeing. But, she did enjoy all the free food and people watching. Next year, she'll get to do a little more of the fun stuff.

The shirts turned out great! It was fun to see the kids so focused and engaged in it. can't wait to see everyone again.
